Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Greeting clients. Serving water and coffee as needed.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Answering the phone and transferring calls.
  • Liaising with process servers, court staff, and mediators with respect to client matters.
  • Ensuring the office is kept clean and in good order. Coordinating with cleaners and suppliers as needed. Cleaning boardrooms after use. Loading and running dishwasher daily.
  • Administrative support for controller.
  • Depositing cheques at the bank. Picking up cheques or other documents from clients.
  • Maintaining stock for office and kitchen supplies.
  • Maintaining calendar for boardrooms.
  • Providing administrative support to lawyers.
  • Filing.
  • Opening and closing office.
  • Maintaining physical and digital legal libraries.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Ability to complete work objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift

Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
